With the Audi RS5, Senner Tuning took all the usual steps: some exterior appointments, upgraded suspension and of course, more power. Starting with the engine modifications, the 4.2-liter direct-injected V8’s output was boosted to 506 hp (+56 ponies) and 478 Nm or (353 lb-ft (+48Nm or 36 lb-ft), by letting it “breathe” more efficiently through a new, valve-controlled stainless steel exhaust system. Thanks to these changes, the modified RS5 accelerates from standstill to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.2 seconds, or almost half a second faster than the stock model.
The removal of the electronic speed limiter allows the coupe to reach a top speed of 280 km/h (174 mph). Speed-thirsty customers can also opt for a tire swap, in which case, the RS5 can go up to 300 km/h (186 mph).
The Bilstein-sourced B16 PSS10 coilover kit, which allows for adjustable damping, both on the compression and rebound cycles, in 10 stages, and the 20-inch alloy wheels with 225/30 rubber up front and 295/25 at the back, round off the performance upgrades.
On the outside, exterior changes are limited to carbon fiber mirror casings, a new window frame finish and a blacked out honeycomb front grille.
Inside, upon request, Senner Tuning can fit the cabin with carbon fiber and custom leather trim.
The complete car costs €113,900 (or US $150,075 at today’s exchange rates), including all taxes and registration, while customers already owning an RS5 will have to pay €18,900 (US $24,903) for the conversion kit.

Imagine a dystopian future where companies use hidden flash units to burn their logos into the retinas of innocent, unknowing citizens. It has a sort of George Orwell / Philip K. Dick vibe to it, doesn’t it? Only this isn’t fantasy, this is real.
Before I elaborate, let me explain something. There’s a condition pervading the general public that advertisers hate more than anything else: ad blindness. In this, the 21st century, we are bombarded by so many advertisements from television, print media and the internet that we’ve learned to subconsciously ignore it. That’s right. We see the ads but we don’t process the content.
In the past, advertisers have been sneaky. They’ve used pop up ads, spam and humor to wear away our defenses. In response, we – the general public – have developed pop up blockers, spam filters and Carlos Mencia. So those crafty marketing cretins at BMW (presumably not the same ones that thought up the horrendous 'dontblogaboutthis' campaign) have come up with a new technique: temporarily burning their logo into cinemagoers retinas.
Allow me to explain with an example; it’s night and you’ve having your photograph taken. The camera flash goes off, and for several seconds afterwards you’re left with a bright square in your field of vision every time you close your eyes.
BMW used the same principle, but placed a cut-out of their logo in front of the flash. The flash goes off and the logo is left hanging there behind your eyelids for a short time.
Great, huh? Only these people didn’t know about it, and the flash was hidden behind the cinema screen. Sounds like something out of C.S. Lewis’ That Hideous Strength, about an organization that (among other things) freely experiments on people for some half-though-out, scientific purpose. I don’t know what BMW is calling this new technique, though one phrase comes to my mind: eyeball rape. I give it ten years before they start doing this at Times Square.

It's taken a while, but we finally got our hands on a collection of photos of the 2012 Chrysler 300 sedan that we can share with you. Set to have its world premiere at next month's Detroit Motor Show, Chrysler's flagship sedan is expected to go on sale in the States around spring of 2011, while there has also been talk about a Lancia-badged version named Thema, which could be revealed in Europe towards the end of next year.
Chrysler has yet to release official info on the redesigned 300, however, the powertrain lineup is expected to be similar to its Dodge Charger twin, offering buyers the option of a new 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 or the 5.7-liter V8 Hemi, as well as the choice of rear- or all-wheel drive.
In terms of the exterior design, out goes the bad boy / gangster look of the first generation model, and in comes a more elegant, almost Buick / Lincoln-like styling approach with far more softer lines and heaps of chrome trim.
We don't have many official pictures of the interior yet, but from the various shots that have made their way onto the internet (see here), the cabin appears to have been redesigned from the ground up, featuring a more luxurious and upscale, but somewhat conservative, appearance.
